The Caledonia Area Chamber of Commerce actually began as the "Caledonia Merchants Association" in 2007. Below is a photo of the founding members. In early 2010 The Caledonia Merchants began to pursue becoming a Chamber of Commerce and in May of 2010 the group officially made the change.

Goals

• To make the Caledonia area a better place for people to live, work, shop, learn, and play
• Promote and enhance business activity and growth in Caledonia
• Create a positive awareness of our local merchants through promotion and community involvement
• Promote a dynamic business environment for the benefit of a vibrant business community
• Provide a healthy environment ot sustain, promote and grow businesses, civic and community organizations in the area while providing opportunity to enhance the quality of life in the Caledonia area through local events
• Organize local businesses and professionals functioning as one voice to promote local commerce and community activities
